50 years have passed since the first Norell Furniture appeared on the Swedish furniture stage. It was immediately recognised that the founder of the company as well as its designer, Arne Norell, had added new, exciting products with a very personal style to the Swedish market. Norells quickly became a well-known brand name among cosumers and interior decorators and architects alike. The fact that many of these early models are still in our, product range and are continuously produced is proof of the high quality in design, comfort and function. Now, as then., all our products are made in Sweden.

When it started, Norells was a handicraft workshop and basically still is. Experienced craftsmen take pride in manufacturing each and every furniture with care. This is true from selection of material to carpentry and wood-working, to cutting, sewing and upholstery, A Norell furniture is made to live with and to use. For generations.

To Norells, design has a very special meaning. The form must never be an end in itself. Our ambition is always to create a functional piece of furniture where the shape is natural and comfortable, and where the proportions are in harmony. The end-results are timeless sofas, easy chairs and armchairs that fit naturally in most places, and that always are recognised for their personal design and high quality.

Marie Norell-Möller carries on the family tradition and style with her work. A new generation shows that traditional style and values will continue at Norells, but adapted to today´s and tomorrow´s furniture customers.
